Summer Camps

The Riverview Arts Centre is pleased to carry on the summer camp tradition in Riverview by offering a summer camp program in Casely Park to children aged 6 to 12 years old. Registration opens on Tuesday, May 25 at 10:00am.

Our summer camp program began four years ago in partnership with Riverview Parks and Recreation. Last year, Riverview Arts Centre fostered an independent program to great success – registration was filled within an hour. We offered art-music-performance sessions over 2 weeks, handling the Covid-19 protocols safely and responsibly, receiving great feedback about camp activities from the parents, and especially from the children.

This year, we have designed the summer camp line-up based on all of the past favorite elements to offer 7, weekly, full-day camps to be held at Casely Park in Riverview. PLUS, each camp theme has arts and culture woven throughout to demonstrate its importance in various activities. The upcoming camps are as follows:

  • Jul 5-9: Adventuring the Arts Camp (ages 9-12)
  • Jul 12-16: Adventuring the Arts Camp (ages 6-9)
  • Jul 19-23: Art of Sport Camp (ages 6-9)
  • Jul 26-30: Live Bait Drama Camp (ages 9-12)
  • Aug 2-6: Art of Sport Camp (ages 9-12)
  • Aug 9-13: Art and Culture Camp (ages 6-9)
  • Aug 16-20: Art and Culture Camp (ages 9-12)
